Prayer Update – November 2018

‘Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the Potter; we are all the work of your hand.’ – Isaiah 64:8

RWANDA

  • The Rainy season has started again. During the last rainy season many people lost their homes and some even their lives. Please pray for safety during coming rains and that we will get the right amount for the crops but not so much that we get flooded.
  • There is a wonderful new labour law in Rwanda that greatly improves the lives of many. Please pray that we learn the new rules quickly and ensure we do not make any mistakes in following them.

AZIZI LIFE CRAFTS

  • We praise God for a number of recent large orders for US Businesses. Please pray for the artisans as they finish them off and the products are shipped out before the end of the month.
  • Please pray for the new weavers we have started working with. Pray that we will be able to keep the work flowing for them as well as all our existing artisans.
  • We praise God for record sales in the Kigali Boutique. Please pray that this trend continues.

EXPERIENCES

  • Our experiences are supported by a number of wonderful organisations working in Rwanda. Sadly one of the guests coming to visit one of them died just a few days before their visit. Please pray for the family of this person and the organisation as they come to terms with this loss.
  • We are currently finalising some tax issues and documentation for previous years. Please pray we are able to communicate clearly and get everything signed off quickly.

BEEUTIFUL CREATIONS

  • Nathalie Imanishimwe has now been appointed as the new Manager of Beeutiful Creations. Please join us in praying that she will be filled with wisdom as she guides the team to even more success.

AZIZI LIFE IMPACT (UBI)

  • We praise God that 142 students passed their Literacy exams and are now able to read and write. They will be awarded their Certificate and bible at the graduation on 7th December. Please pray that celebration goes well.
  • We have been invited to meet with the Director of the Prison in Muhanga as they would like us to run our Literacy program there. Currently there are around 700 people in the Prison who are unable to read and write. Please pray we are able to help them.

AZIZI LIFE US

  • We praise God that Christi is now back in the US and ready to share Azizi Life in Washington, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
  • Please continue to pray for God’s direction for the most fruitful connections, events, and sharing opportunities for Christi.
  • Please ask for God’s provision and great partnerships in reaching our goal of raising $50,000 for the Multiply Project by December 31st. So far we have received $24,300! Learn more about the Multiply Project here.
  • We praise God that He has provided someone to work for Azizi Life in the US! Please pray for God’s blessing on her as she meets with Christi to plan for Azizi Life’s leap forward in 2019. We need God’ powerful work to make this leap. And we are excited to introduce her to you soon!

Thank you for joining us in prayer.
