A Card That Tells a Story

There’s something special about receiving a card that feels personal. Not just a quick note, but something you can tell was made with care. Something you consider keeping.

Our newest card collection was created with that in mind.

Each card is handmade by Venant, an artisan who works with banana fiber — a natural, textured material that makes every piece unique. Some designs also include Kitenge fabric remnants, carefully chosen and hand cut. Because of the nature of these materials, no two cards are ever the same. Each one is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

These aren’t cards meant to be tossed aside. They’re cards people hold onto. Some even frame them.

On the back of every card is a QR code that connects the recipient directly to the maker.

When scanned, it opens a short video showing Venant at work, creating a card from start to finish. You can see his hands, the process, and the care that goes into each piece. It’s a simple moment, but a meaningful one — a reminder that this card was made by a real person, not a machine.

We love that the story doesn’t end when the card is given. It continues with the person who receives it.

These cards are made using banana fiber and Kitenge fabric remnants, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Each card comes with a recycled paper envelope and no plastic sleeve — beautifully simple and kind to the planet.
