Shop & Meet the Artisans

Our shop at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund’s new location has a curated selection of our beautiful artisan-made goods, plus a collection of unique gorilla-inspired pieces.  Schedule a full or half day Experience with local artisan hosts, or enjoy time on campus with visiting artisans on select days.

It’s amazing this is handmade- the quality of this and how tight this is woven. I would love to watch them do that.

Experience Life in Rural Rwanda

Rural artisans open their homes and lives, inviting you to experience life and culture in their communities.

Experience weaving, pottery, traditional cooking, mud brick building, banana juice making, coffee picking, drumming and dancing, or imigongo making with the artisans!

I have travelled all over the world for the last 20+ years and this is absolutely a highlight.
